Kerry Parents & Friends
No.1 Woodlawn Drive, Killarney is home to Timmy, Katie, Eileen and Fionnuala. It also acts as a respite house at weekends which gives other people we support and their families an oppurtunity to avail of a respite break.The residents in Woodlawn enjoy a ery active life. Some are members of Kerry Stars Special Olympics and some are members of a local Gym.

Nights Out
The evenings are spent dining out and going to the cinema and of course doing the weekly shopping when they decide what is going on the menu.Every two weeks everybody in Woodlawn attend the "Forever Friends Club Disco" in the Old Monastery where everyone loves to dance till they almost DROP!!

Kerry Parents and Friends Association was established in 1973 as a support to families of people with an intellectual disability and the Franciscan Sisters of the Divine Motherhood in their work with persons with an Intellectual Disability at St. Mary of the Angels, Beaufort near Killarney. The Association became a Service Provider in 1978 in response to an urgent need for services for adults with an intellectual disability in Co. Kerry. The Association provides community based Day, Residential and Support Services for more than 250 adults with an intellectual disability and their families in various locations throughout Kerry.
